Enrichment

I want to thank President and Sister Renner for allowing us to have our Enrichment Activity in their home and for sharing their knowledge and expertise with us.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn about how to raise rabbits for food, how to start a vegetable garden, how to rear fish for food as well as to generate some income from it.

As for my part, I want to thank Jane for helping me cook in the kitchen! =)

Also, I want to thank the Renners for their hospitality.

Good news! My 'kai lan' sprouted!!! Hooray! We'll see when I can harvest it. Hee hee!

Actually, I am confused. I now have 3 bags of plants (one is mine and 2 are somebody else's)and only one has sprouted. So, I acutally don't know which one is mine. ^__^

Oh well, nonetheless, it's a good experience to grow vegetables. I am learning something new!

How is going with your vegetables, sistas?

It's alright, Claire. We can share. The other 2 bags also have sprouts but I don't know whether they are weeds!

Well, all three bags already sprouted. One of them is the pumpkin. The pumpkin plant is growing quite well.

I have a question: Does the pumpkin grow on the soil or in the soil? Anybody knows? ^_^ Either way, I think it needs transplanting. Is that how you call it? "Transplanting" or "transferring"? Hee hee!

Anyways, the other 2 are kai lan, but one bag is kinda weak. Need to put under shade.

Oh well, I hope all of you sister's plants are growing well.
